For the last several years, we have honored our fallen racer and friend, Curtis Tennant, and we will continue to do so. We want to ask all of our racing family and fans to wear either orange or green clothing to honor Curtis during this event.

Curtis loved every aspect of dirt track racing. The Tennant family was always at the race track. Curtis started driving in 1992, but helped on several cars long before that. Curtis started turning wrenches on his dad's (Elvin Tennant's) cars when he was young, so young that most kids at that age most likely didn't know what wrenches were. He raced at several different tracks over the years most weekends running Friday, Saturday and a lot of Sundays.

Even after he got sick, he was working here at Tri-State doing different jobs from track prep during the week to being tech man on Saturday night. You couldn't get any cheating past Curtis because he at some point had probably already tried that trick.

Curtis was known and loved by so many different people, racers and non-racers alike.

The United States Modified Touring Series (USMTS),  presented by CHamp Pans, stars will make their sixth appearance at the mighty Tri-State Speedway this Saturday night, June 1st, 2019. Drive4JRT.com (JRT Trucking, Inc) and Sonny Davis, Inc. will be the local sponsors for this event. Make sure to let them know how much you appreciate them supporting local dirt track racing.

These top-level USRA Modifieds will be in Pocola, OK for the "meat" of the a three-stop sandwich that starts on Friday night, May 31st at I-30 Speedway in Little Rock, AR. They will then travel west on I-40 to stop by the famous high banks for their Saturday night stop. On Sunday, June 2md, they will travel northwest for their third event in as many days at the Creek County Speedway, in Kellyville, OK.

These super fast modifieds of drivers like Rodney Sanders, Zack VanderBeek, Hunter Marriott, Ryan Gustin, Dereck Ramirez, Mike Striegel, Jake O'Neil, Adam Kates, Joe Duvall, and Terry Phillips will mix it up with your local USRA Modified favorites like Trevor Latham, Randy Henson, George Martin, Brian Williams, Brent Holman, Kyle Ledford, Lonnie Robins, Mike Hines, Jake Davis and Jeremy Vaughn plus another 30 or so of their friends. (Driver's listed are the Top 10 in their divisions/classes. Not everyone is guaranteed to appear.)

We'll also throw in a big group of Factory stocks and even more Out-Pace USRA B-Mods to round out this huge event that you don't want to miss.

We're keeping a close eye on road closures due to the Arkansas River flooding. CUrrently there are still two routes open. One to the east and of us and one to the west of us. If anything changes, we'll definitely let everyone know as soon as possible.

Puts will open at 4 PM with stands opening at 5 PM. Hot laps are scheduled for 6:30 PM with racing at 7 PM.

Pit passes will be $35 for adults and $15 for kids (6-12). Stands will be $20 for adults, $17 for seniors (65+) abd $10 for kids (6-12). Kids 5 and under, as well as all military (past or present with proof of service) will get into the stands for free.
