Patterson and Hunter Lock Up Championships

Two more 2015 track championships were decided this past weekend. Chris Patterson (48) picked up the Factory/IMCA Stock track championship will young Zane Hunter (1/2) secured the IMCA Modified championship.

Patterson picked up 16 Top Ten feature finishes, 11 Top Five feature fnishes and won four A Features on his way to securing the champtionship and an average feature finishing positions of 4th.. With only one point race remaining in the season, with a possible 40 point gain, Chris cannot be caught,

Hunter picked up 14 Top Ten finishes and five Top Fives to lock up the track championship. With only point race remaining in the season, with a possible 40 point gain, Zane cannot be caught heading into the last points race with a 65 point lead.

Congratulations to these two fine drivers on their achievements this year at Tri-State Speedway.

Two more championships will be decided on the final night of point racing on September 26th. In the IMCA Sport Mods, 14 year old Kayden Menasco (49) will enter the night with a 13 point lead over veteran driver, Ken McCarty (1). In the TSS Modifieds, Jamie Hibbs (109) enters the night just three points ahead of Jeremy Vaughn (8) and only eight points ahead of Brandon Hunter (1/4) in third. Both classes have a possible 40 point gain.
