2015 Class Adjustments

Tri-State Speedway

With the mid-point of the 2015 season upon us, some class adjustments have just been announced.

Due to the lack of participation, the Front Wheel Drives and Mini-Stock classes have been removed from the regular weekly program. We originally did not plan to run these two classes in 2015, but they were added with the promise from the drivers that enough cars would show up each week to support the classes. We do not like to drop classes, as we like to provide everyone with a place to race, but unfortunately the support was not there and the classes have been dropped as of June 20th, 2015.

On the other hand, a new class has been added, by driver request. Tri-State Speedway, starting on June 27th, 2015, will now run a USRA-stlye Modified class called TSS Modifieds. This will NOT be a USRA sanctioned class and will not require a USRA license to compete, but will utilize the published 2015 USRA Modified rules. No USRA points will be awarded by Tri-State Speedway. This class was added, by request, from numerous USRA cars in the area who were looking for a great place to race on Saturday nights. A link to the class rules and the class payouts are available by clicking on the rules butrton or on the class payouts.

With these changes, we are confident that we will continue to provide the best show possible on the best track possible for the best fans in local dirt track aracing.

We will see YOU soon!
