  • Registration

    The 2014 Tri-State Speedway Drivers/Owners Registration form is now available. This form can be filled out on a PC by using Internet Explorer. For other browsers, such as Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox, please scroll to the bottom of this document.

    Please read this information and the information on the form completely before beginning.

    You should fill out this form ONLINE. EVERY driver/owner MUST fill out this form for each car/class if you are going to race ANY race with us in 2014, including specials. It costs you nothing to fill out this form and provides us with your required information.

    A valid working email address is REQUIRED to register with Tri-State Speedway in 2014. You can get free email accounts from Google Mail, Yahoo, etc.

    If you intend on running for ROOKIE OF THE YEAR, you MUST declare this on your registration form. Failure to do so will make you ineligible, even if it is your first year in the class.

    If you drive for some one other than yourself, please make sure that all of the form is complete. If you are the owner, please put your name in the top section.

    You WILL RECEIVE a confirmation via email from us within 48 hours, of your submission, stating that your registration has been received. The confirmation will be sent to the email address that you used to send the registration from. If you DO NOT receive a confirmation, it means that we DID NOT receive your registration and you need to re-submit your form. If you have difficulty getting the online form to us or using the form, please contact us at This email address is being protected from spambots.     Just for clarification - it costs NOTHING to fill out this form and submit it. You ONLY pay your registration (if required) when you show up at the track.

    This form just speeds up the sign-in process for new drivers and makes sure that everything that is required is submitted.

  • Start Times

    Pit gates open at 4:00 PM. Grandstands open at 5:00 PM. Driver sign in ends at 6:45 PM sharp. Hot laps are scheduled for 6:30 PM. Pre-race ceremonies are scheduled to begin after hot laps and driver's meeting. ** Gate times may differ for special events and will be posted on event flyers and in information about the event.

    Seating is open air on metal grandstands.  You may bring a cushion or stadium chair to be more comfortable. *** Lawn chairs or folding chairs are only allowed on the bottom few rows of the grandstands or on top of the club in Turn 1.

    In March, early April, late September and October, you may want to bring a blanket and dress warmly.

    Full concessions are available as you go through the front ticket gate and in the center pit area.. 

    Turn One Club - an enclosed bar area where you can watch the races and enjoy adult beverages.  Must be 21 to enter.

    Restrooms are available under the stands, to the left as you enter the commons area.  A changing area is available in the ladies' room.

    Grandstand Admission Prices:
    Adults:   $10.00
    Seniors: $8.00
    Kids 6 yr to 12 yr:  $5.00
    Under 5 yr:  FREE
    Miltary/Armed Forces w/ ID: FREE - Grandstands only (Limit one person per ID)
    FAMILY PACK: $30 (Good for up to 4 paying customers)

    Season Pass Pricing:
    $225 per adult. This is a savings of at least 25% compared to buying a $10 ticket every week!
    Children season tickets are not available at this time.
    Pass is good for any grandstand admission for any race night during the 2015 season, including specials.
    Pass is transferrable, so if you cannot come to the track that night, a friend or other family member may use your pass.
    Passes will be available at the track starting with the first race through May 30th.

    2013 Tri-State Speedway Demolition Derby Rules 

    1. Eligible vehicles: Open to any American or foreign manufactured street cars and mini-vans. No convertibles, jeeps, 4-wheel drive cars or pick-ups. These vehicles are to remain STOCK for make and year with the exception of the modifications that follow. NO cutting, chopping, channeling, or shortening allowed. Wheel wells and fenders CANNOT be cut. The engine, rear-end (or trans axle), and transmission must remain STOCK. NO race cars, street stocks, pure stocks or similar.
    2. Entrants: All drivers must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
    3. Communications:No radios, cell phones, race receivers of any kind will be allowed.
    4. Appearance: Lettering must be in good taste as not to offend anyone. Themed cars are allowed and encouraged.
    5. Boundaries: There will be boundaries on both ends of the front straight away. All cars must remain inside this area during the competition.
    6. Battery: If battery is relocated (recommended to be moved to driver’s compartment) it MUST be contained in a marine type container and securely fastened by using metal straps. No bungee or rubber straps allowed. Two batteries of any type and size are allowed.
    7. Glass, Dash, Firewall, and Interior:All interior and exterior glass MUST be removed. Plastic interior trim and seals not used MUST be removed. There MUST be a firewall between the driver’s compartment and the trunk. It is recommended to leave the interior panel on driver’s door for protection. (If removed you must add padding in its place.) Bars, not to extend more than 8” on either side of the driver’s door) may be added to driver’s door ONLY for safety, but in no way can they strengthen the frame.
    8. Brakes:Must have dependable brakes at all time during the competition.
    9. Doors: All doors must be welded (at least four (4) 1” welds per door) or chained shut with two (2) chains per door.
    10. Engine: MUST remain stock for that make and model and in its original mounts. Radiator MUST remain in STOCK position or be taken out. Fan blade MUST be removed. Exhaust through the hood is OK.
    11. Gas Tank: If gas tank is left in original position, the straps must not be rusted, or replaced if needed. If gas tank is relocated to the trunk, it must be strapped in place with at least four (4) 1” wide straps and rear firewall MUST be sealed completely with sheet metal. All gas tanks MUST be secure with no leaks. It is recommended to only carry enough fuel onboard for the event.
    12. Safety: All entrants MUST wear a full face helmet. A fire suit is highly recommended. If no fire suit, a long sleeved, heavy shirt, long pants (jeans), and shoes/boots are required.
    13. Seat and Seat Belts: Seat must be securely mounted. Lap and shoulder belts must be securely mounted and in working condition. It is recommended to add a rear support for the driver’s seat.
    14. Suspensions: Must remain completely STOCK for that make and model. No air-shocks or helper springs allowed.
    15. Frames and Bumpers: NO welding or addition of metal to the frame. Any protruding objects from frame must be removed. Bumpers MUST remain stock. No extra brackets or reinforcements.
    16. Steering: All steering components MUST remain completely STOCK and cannot be altered or reinforced.
    17. Hoods and Trunks: May be bolted down or wired shut in four (4) places. No welding allowed. Hoods and trunks must be able to be opened for inspection at any time.
    18. Tires and Wheels: 8” wide maximum width. No racing tires or studded tires. No liquids in tires allowed. No double tires or solid rubber tires.

    The Tri-State Speedway Car Show is March 10th, 2012 at GCR Tire Center in Fort Smith, Arkansas from 10 AM to 2 PM

    This year's car show is going to be a special event for the whole family!  It's the perfect opportunity to see all the race cars close up, meet and talk to the drivers, take pictures with your favorite drivers and get their autographs.  This year's Car Show will also be a fundraiser for a local food pantry. GCR will be selling hot dogs with all of the proceeds going to the local food pantry. They are also asking that everyone attending bring a few cans of food for donation. And there's more! There will a bounce around for the kids along with a clown and balloon animals. Bring the whole family out! Could there be more? Yes!!! GCR Tire Center of Ft.Smith will be giving away a set of tires (up to $1,000) for the Best Of Show winner!  We'll see you there!

  • 2017 General Admission Pricing

    On the pit side, pit passes will remain at $30 for adults, kids 6-12 years old will be $15 and kids 5 and under will be free. Any kid in the pits (12 and under) must be in the immediate area of their parent or guardian.

    For the grandstands, adult admission will remain at $10. Seniors (65+) will get a $2 discount. Kids 6-12 will be $5. Kids 5 and under will be free. Also, all military personnel, past or present, with proof of service, will get in free.Limit one person per ID. All active law enforcement or firefighter personnel, with badge/ID, will also get in free. Limit one person per ID.  Special event pricing may differ. 

    ***NOTE: Lawn chairs are only allowed in the grandstand seating area on the bottom few rows or on top of the club in Turn 1. Only stadium chairs or cushions will be allowed beyond the first few rows in the grandstands. 

    There will also be an option for a family pack. Family packs will be only $30 and are good for up to four paying customers. For example, four adults would save you $10 or with three adults and one child, you would save $5. Family pack pricing is not available for pit passes  Family pack pricing is not available for special events.

    Also available this year for the grandstands are season passes. Adult season passes will be available at the ticket window at the track through May 30th for only $225. Child season passes are not available. You save at least 25-30% over individual adult ticket pricing! The season pass is good for any night of racing. Your season pass is also transferable. If you can't attend one night, you can loan your pass to a friend who loves racing and they can use it that night for all of the edge of your seat, heart pounding, high octane excitement that is the legendary Tri-State Speedway!

    Tulsa Oklahoma (February 8, 2013)- The Oil Capital Racing Series is proud to announce that AmeriFlex Hose and Accessories is expanding their sponsorship participation with the ever popular sprint car series. AmeriFlex Hose and Accessories first partnered up with OCRS in the 2012 season with the “Hard Charger Award”. AmeriFlex has elected to renew their backing of the Hard Charger program in 2013. In addition to sponsoring the Hard Charger Award, AmeriFlex will also sponsor the first heat race at each OCRS event during the 2013 season thus expanding their support of the OCRS series.
